Hey there! That's an interesting result -- out of curiosity, have you tried connecting your PS4 directly into your router or modem rather than through a wireless connection to see if there's any improvement?

(Apologies if I've asked this before; I went back through the thread so I don't think I did but you never know!)

I think you replied before I started machine-gunning a whole bunch of questions, so gonna call it out specifically as I did above:

Hardwire was going to be our next move, but when it worked with the Wifi moved closer we let my son play for awhile (he loves the game, by the way). We will try that as a next check and let you know how things look - because of having to switch around the modem (and losing signal for every other room - LOL) we need a block of time to do more testing. We may need to add a router in the games room to really be set up properly. The game certainly takes all of the Wifi when it is running. An ok signal drops to zero as soon as the game kicks in. I'll update once we've tried direct connection.

Hi there

Having the same problem as everyone else. Had the game at launch and still haven't been able to play

PS4
Quebec, Canada
wireless
have tried every game mode
no change after power cycle

Have you tried connecting your PS4 directly to your router or modem with an ethernet cable, rather than wirelessly to see if there's any improvement?

And a few more questions from a previous post of mine:

Who is your internet service provider (ISP)?
Are you playing splitscreen or attempting to get into a lobby solo?
Have you tried to join a party and then had the party leader enter a match, and does that let you successfully enter a game?

Thanks for the reply. We haven't connected it directly. The PS4 is in the basement, the router is upstairs.

ISP is a provider called Xpornet
Haven't played split screen. Have tried to get into a lobby solo
Havent tried to join a party.

Try playing with someone else. See if you can play if someone invites you into lobby. Log onto xbox and follow Deformers in game hub. Will show you other players who can send you invite.

Are you having trouble with booting the game on your Xbox, or getting the "Cannot connect to lobby" error when you select a game mode to play?

Wanted to jump in and say......"THANKYOU "
That's straight from the boy's mouths at the same time!
We got back yesterday from out of town and Deformers update was available and ......IT WORKED.
Boys are playing locally now at least and they love it.

Thaeyare soooo happy, thanx to all who have supported and geeked out for them....Liltrash, kalyai and more.

Boys are finding out what they can and cannot do so we will let ya know. As of now though their just happy to play and with no lagging at all. Impressive!
